TAIEX WORKSHOP, ATHENS- GREECE

The Auditor General of the Audit Authority of Montenegro, Ksenija Barjaktarović, and the authorised auditor and member of the AFCOS network, Jasna Ilić, attended the TAIEX workshop from March 4 to 7, held in Athens, Republic of Greece.

The aim of the TAIEX workshop was to gain practical experience from the modus operandi of the Greek AFCOS, which covers all aspects of the anti-fraud cycle with special emphasis on the application of tools for risk assessment, assessment of received complaints and IMS management (Irregularity Management System) and CMS (Complaints Management System).

The representatives of the Audit Authority, together with their colleagues from the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro (AFCOS office), had the opportunity to exchange experiences with the representatives of the National Transparency Body, the AFCOS office and the Audit Authority of the Republic of Greece related to the development of a national anti-corruption strategy, a strategy for communication and the development of an action plan , assessment and record keeping for detected suspicions of fraud as well as monitoring cases of detected suspicions of fraud.

The workshop was organized and financed from the funds of the TAIEX program.
