Auditor General, Ms. Ksenija Barjaktarovic, had an opportunity to be a panelist at the International Conference on Public Procurement and EU funds, CroPRO 2026, held from April 15–18 in Vodice, Croatia.

The Conference brought together the panelists – General Auditors and representatives from Audit Authorities and Supreme Audit Institutions from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro, providing an important platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices in the field of auditing and management of EU funds.
Excellent organization and distinguished speakers addressed highly relevant topics related to public procurement, strengthening institutional capacities, transparency, accountability, and the auditing of EU-funded programmes and projects.

Participation in this conference further contributed to strengthening regional cooperation and professional networking among institutions responsible for the protection of the financial interests of the European Union. The event also provided an opportunity to discuss current challenges, share practical experiences, and promote the importance of efficient and transparent management of public funds.
