The Chief Auditor, Ms. Ksenija Barjaktarović, had the opportunity to participate as a panelist at the International Conference on Public Procurement and EU Funds, CroPRO 2026, held from 15 to 18 April in Vodice, Croatia.

The conference brought together panelists—chief auditors and representatives of Audit Institutions and Supreme Audit Offices from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro—providing a significant platform for exchanging experiences and best practices in the field of auditing and managing European Union funds.
Excellent organization and prominent speakers covered very topical topics related to public procurement, strengthening institutional capacities, transparency, accountability, as well as auditing programs and projects funded by the European Union.

Participation in this conference further contributed to strengthening regional cooperation and professional networking among institutions responsible for protecting the financial interests of the European Union. The event also provided an opportunity to consider current challenges, exchange practical experiences, and highlight the importance of efficient and transparent management of public funds.
