In the period from 30 March to 1 April 2026, the Auditor General, Ksenija Barjatkarović, and the Head of the Department for audit of the program of agricultural and rural development, Rina Mučaj Demirović, visited Ljubljana to participate in a workshop organized on the occasion of the completion of the Forensic Accounting and Auditing Certification Programme.
The Forensic Accounting and Auditing Certification Programme is a six-month regional programme organized by the Centre of Excellence in Finance (CEF) and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). Following the successful completion of the final exam, a certificate award ceremony for first generation of participants was held in Ljubljana in the form of a closing workshop.

The workshop provided an opportunity to deepen knowledge and further develop practical skills in the areas of fraud detection, digital forensics, and investigative communication, as well as to consider the application of these skills in real-life situations. The training programme was also completed, and the certificate obtained, by Miladin Glavatović – Authorised Auditor in the Department for Audit of Regional and Territorial Cooperation Programmes.
In addition, the Auditor General held discussions with representatives of CEF and CIPFA on opportunities for further cooperation, including the organization of tailored training programmes to meet the needs of the Audit Authority of Montenegro.
