The Mini-Homologues Meeting was held on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024 in Belgrade in organization by the Audit Authority Office of EU Funds and the Agency for Audit of European Union Programmes Implementation System under the Project: Further strengthening the capacity of the Serbian Audit Authority.
The meeting was a perfect opportunity to exchange views and experiences in respect of Audit Authority’s work and efforts which we all invest in dealing with challenges when auditing IPA II and IPA III funds.
General Auditor Ksenija Barjaktarović with colleagues Dubravka Mihailović, Stana Gacević, Marija Perović and Nikola Volkov were the participants on the Mini – homologue meeting.
The Auditor General was a panelist on the topic of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans together with a colleague from DG NEAR and the director of the Office for the Audit of EU Funds of the Government of Serbia. During the panel discussion, information was exchanged about the stage of the Reform Agenda and when it will be adopted by individual governments, as well as the EC. Also, opinions were exchanged regarding the role of audit authorities in order to protect the interests of EU citizens when the first payments of grants and favourable loans begin.
