From June 18th to 24th, 2023, representatives of the Audit Authority of Montenegro visited Sweden as part of a study visit to their colleagues at the Swedish National Financial Management Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visit was organized under the Twinning Light project “Improving the Legislative Framework and Strengthening the Administrative Capacities of the Audit Authority of Montenegro” and was utilized for exchanging experiences with institutions that have similar goals and responsibilities. This exchange will be extremely beneficial for the current and future work of the Audit Authority of Montenegro. The visit placed special focus on audit planning, the methods of conducting audits, and the working documents used during these processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Auditor Ksenija Barjatkarovi\u0107 had the opportunity to present the work of the Audit Authority to her Swedish colleagues, sharing experiences and lessons learned in the previous period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During their stay in Sweden, the representatives of the Audit Authority of Montenegro visited the Swedish Ministry of Finance, where they exchanged experiences on topics such as fraud, conflicts of interest, and the verification of double funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visit also included a tour of the Swedish Parliament, the highest legislative and decision-making body, where the representatives of the Audit Authority were introduced to the historical role of the institution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
