Representatives of Audit Authority of Montenegro participated in TAIEX international workshop on IPA II challenges and strengthening of network between IPA audit authorities, which was organised by European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experts from Brussels (DG NEAR, DG EMPL), European Court of Auditors, EU Delegation in Macedonia, as well as experts from Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia were speakers in the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event aimed at allowing IPA audit authorities to apply best practices in view of performing audit of IPA II funds and giving general guidelines and explanations on possible challenges this process encompasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives of all audit authorities from countries beneficiaries of IPA II funds presented audit approach applied in their countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from the representatives of Audit Authority of Montenegro, representatives of audit authority of Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey as well as representatives of Ministry of Finance of Kosovo were also present on the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
