ANNOUNCEMENT: Finalisation of IPA 2012 Twinning Li

Audit Authority organises closing ceremony and closing meeting of the Twinning Light Project within the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance IPA 2012 „Strengthening of Audit Authority of Montenegro“ which will be held on Wednesday, 1st April 2015 in Hotel Ramada, at 10.30 h. Twinning Light Project was implemented with the expert support of the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, Central Audit Service.

The aim of this project, worth EUR 250.000 was to prepare and strengthen Audit Authority of Montengro in compliance with EU for execution of tasks within the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).

The purpose of the project is the assistance to Audit Authority in establishment of the system and methodology for audit of EU funds in compliance with international audit standards and best practice.

Twinning light project was implemented through three activities: update of audit methodology, training of auditors and organizational development.

Mr. André Lys, representative of EU Delegation in Montenegro; Mr. Mr Peter Vlasveld, representative ofthe Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, Central Audit Service and Head of Dutch Audit Authority, Mr Neven Šprlje, Director of the Agency for the Audit of European Union Programmes Implementation System of Croatia, Mr Harry Jansen from the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, Central Audit Service, Audit Authority and Member State Project Leader, Mr Željko Nedović, authorised auditor from the Audit Authority of Montenegro and Ms Mila Barjaktarovic, Auditor General of the Audit Authority of Montenegro and beneficiary country project leader will address to the participants of the closing meeting.
